The facts only the facts. Right….
I am 36 year old female who picks ‘some college’ on all forms. I am married to the nicest man on Earth. He is brilliant, funny, calm and dynamic. He is the love of my life and I hope that I bring at least half as much happiness in to his life as he brings to mine. I will refer to him as my Honey. I have a child. I, like many parents, think my son is the most wonderful thing since sliced bread. He really is. I will refer to him as Wonder Boy from here on out. We are not going to have anymore biological children. I do think about fostering children, we will see if that ever comes to fruitition. My life is truly charmed. I know this. I thank the Universe for it everyday. I never ever forget it. I am really one of the happiest people I know. I have worked in cube land in the past and currently I am working part time in the hospitality industry. My honey is an engineer. He is the saver and very very good at math
<he got a perfect score on his math SATs> I am a spender… well Actually I don’t think it is really the right descriptor.. I am the AVOIDER.. and I am very very very BAD at Math <I didn’t even take the SATs>
What does Zen Spend mean?? Its my own personal term for an expense that in in tune with our goals.

The aim of Zen practice is to discover this Buddha-nature within each person, through meditation and mindfulness of daily experiences. Zen practitioners believe that this provides new perspectives and insights on existence, which ultimately lead to enlightenment.
I want to work mindfully within my daily spending to achieve our financial goals and life goals. I do meditate and do yoga and my emotions about money come up on my mat more then I want it to. I have some pretty lofty life goals so if I don’t start now I will not be enlightened!
